Cascahuin Tahona Tequila Blanco 750ml
$99.00Add to cartThe Rosales family who produces Cascahuin has been working as tequileros since 1902. In the 1980s the family abandoned their traditional stone Tahona mill for a more efficient roller mill, but recently they decided to revive and reinstall the tahona (+a mechanically driven arm) and use small copper alembique still to produce this excellent tequila. It’s rich and complex, balancing peppercorn, cooked agave, and fresh earth punctuated with waves of tropical fruits. Absolutely a benchmark among lowlands (or valles) tequilas.

Chartreuse Yellow 750ml
$99.00Add to cartA spirit that has become harder and harder to find after the monks who make it decided to pray more and make less. Regardless of how much there is, it is a perennial favorite.
Created in 1840, this yellow liqueur is inspired by the Elixir Végétal recipe and it was so popular that Father Garnier (responsible for liqueurs at the time) decided to officially name it Chartreuse Jaune.
This Chartreuse Jaune is sweet, spicy, and gets its natural color from 130 plants, flowers, bark, roots and spices.
The botanicals are ground by the monks in the plant room at the Grande Chartreuse monastery before it is distilled for the aroma. The Chartreuse then ages for a long time in oak casks before being bottled, and continues to evolve and develop its complexity in the bottle.

Community Negroni
$105.00Add to cartFor the Community Negroni we keep it simple while focusing on classic Italian flavors (and all Italian liquors).
To make the Community Negroni combine 1 oz of Campari, 1 oz of Elena Sweet Vermouth di Torino, and 1 oz of Mazzetti Gin over ice and stir until very cold before straining into a glass over a large ice cube. Express an orange peel, wipe the orange peel around the rim of the glass and use it for garnish.
If this is a little too sweet for you try 1 oz of gin and 3/4 oz of the Campari and Vermouth.
-
Community Sidecar
$100.00Add to cartThe Sidecar is an absolute old school classic that we think more people need to know about. It balances sweet and boozy with a lift of citrus from the lemon and Cointreau. We love it.
To make the Sidecar:
Combine 2 oz of Hennessy VSOP with 1.5 oz of lemon juice and 1 oz of Cointreau in a cocktail shaker and shake with ice.
Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish orange or lemon peel.
If this is too boozy the classic recipe has an additional teaspoon of Demerara syrup, but we prefer it without.
-
Community Wine and Spirits Manhattan
$125.00Add to cartWe love the way these ingredients come together to make the base of a darker Manhattan variant we can call our own.
The sweetness of Woodford and the kiss of bitter citrus of the Amaro Nonino make for the perfect base for a boozy cocktail that can be dressed up with garnishes or further experimented with using different bitters.
To make the Community Wine & Spirits Manhattan:
Combine 2.5 oz of Woodford Reserve and 1 oz of Amaro Nonino and stir over ice until well chilled.
Strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with an orange peel or a candied walnut.
