Barone di Villagrande Etna Bianco Superiore 2023

Crafted from Carricante grapes grown in high-altitude vineyards, this Bianco Superiore exudes aromas of citrus, white flowers, and a saline minerality that mirrors the sea breeze sweeping across the Sicilian coast. The vintage experienced a temperate growing season marked by mild temperatures and gentle breezes, allowing for optimal fruit development and balanced acidity in the grapes. Sicilian to the core.

Braida Il Fiore 2023
$35.00Add to cartA gorgeous Barbera that showcases the sensual and powerful side of the grape. The wine is aged for 12 months in oak before another year in bottle.
We love it, but don’t just take our word for it. Here is the review by the excellent Antonio Galloni from Vinous:
The 2019 Barbera d’Asti Bricco dell’Uccellone is one of the best versions of this wine I can remember tasting. Rich and full-bodied to the core, with stunning depth, the 2019 offers up a beguiling range of black fruit, mocha, chocolate, grilled herbs, lavender and incense. There’s still plenty of concentration and oak to support it, but without the excesses of some recent years. it has been a while since I have been able to say a Braida wine is exciting, but the 2019 certainly is!
-
Braida Moscato d’Asti Vigna Senza Nome 2023 375ml

Ca’ Lojera Lugana 2023
$30.00Add to cartCa’Lojera translates from the local dialect to “House of the Wolf” and is the family seat of the vignerons. It’s those symbols that decorate the etiquette of the bottle and give it its name. We think it’s delicious and interesting. The perfect wine to take to a party with some other wine lovers. There’s a bit of red fruit nuance that adds a totally unique element to this white wine.

Casanova di Neri Brunello di Montalcino 2019
$109.00Add to cartThis is a great entry into the 2019 vintage that can be enjoyed now, but will also be great laid down for a few years. It has the heft that some seek, but there’s plenty of nuance that comes from their deft balance between the wildness of the grapes and the slickness of the cellar hand.
