The wine is aged in large oak foudres where it stays to be bottled unfined and unfiltered a full three years after harvest. It’s balanced but sturdy and has sweet tannins and aromatic, meaty spice.

The blend of old-vine fruit from La Crau, imparts incredible depth, concentration, and fresh minerality. Their goal, which they uniformly achieve, is to find a harmony between aromatic complexity, tannic structure, and richness. A stupendous wine.

Yves Cuilleron Viognier Les Vignes d’a Cote 2022
$33.00Add to cartThe Viognier Vignes d’à Coté, meaning “nearby vines” is from a sustainable vineyard close to the Condrieu appellation. This 100% Viognier is aromatic and is further intensified a few months in oak.
This is an excellent introduction to Viognier with the tell-tale aromas of apricot, nectarine and floral honeysuckle on the nose. The palate is fleshy and ripe, with excellent acidity. Simply put this is a delicious, mouth-watering Viognier from one of the top producers in the Rhone.
