Adega de Penalva Dao Maceration 2021 repre...
Adega de Penalva Dao Maceration 2021 represents the collective winery’s commitment to producing high-quality wines through traditional winemaking techniques. Sourced from select vineyards in the Dao region, known for its granite soils and cool climate, this wine reflects the area’s unique terroir.
This wine undergoes extended maceration to extract optimal color, flavor, and tannin structure, resulting in a wine of depth and complexity. Floral aromas give way to a palate full of citrus and honey that linger in the mouthwatering finish.

Andria Gvino Kakheti Tako 2022
A continuation of George’s traditional app...
A continuation of George’s traditional approach to honoring their ancient legacy, this cuvée is made with 100% Kisi, a rare white grape indigenous to the region, produced from 45-year-old vines grown on Cinnamonic soil. After harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and fermented with 5% skin contact for five days before being aged in Qvevri for three months. The finished wine is unfiltered, unfined, and with zero sulfur added. This Kisi expression can be heralded as a cornerstone example of zero-zero winemaking. First impressions of this wine on the nose unveil a delicate bouquet of florals. On the palate, however, is when we catch a glimpse (or taste, rather) of the complexity of this wine. It oscillates between dried apricot, tart lemon curd, and honeysuckle nectar. This wine is finely balanced, with a gentle, coaxing acidity, smooth tannins, and a finish that invites a clearer understanding of this wine’s nod to the past. – Ella

Big Salt is a white wine that winemaker’s Ovum say is their attempt to capture a day at the beach in a bottle, this Orange Rose is blend of that fresh white with Pinot Gris skins to create a cranberry sunset colored wine that is incredibly unique. This is the perfect way to ease your friends and family into the orange wine category. It’s salty with notes of tea, spice, and late harvest red apple skins. Truly an interesting wine worth tasting—especially chilled down.

We are “wholly” impressed with Interger. This eclectic wine, made from 100% Zibbibo, is the epitome of minimal intervention & one of the nerdiest bottlings out there. Ripe white fruit, lardon, caramelized pear, baking spice & candied grapefruit culminate in an ethereal finish. A no-brainer with cacio e pepe, pasta carbonara or tonkotsu ramen

Dolores Cabrera Fernández, Valle de la Orotava La Araucaria Rosado 2023
We love the wines of Dolores Cabrera who f...
We love the wines of Dolores Cabrera who focuses on Listán (Blanco and Negro) across Tenerife. She loves 100+ year old vines, and while her husband Pedro helps in the cellar she employs a team of women to pick because she believes they are more deft at picking grapes during harvest. The soils in the la Orotava are a mix of volcanic and clay. There’s a distinct earthiness and crunch texture to the wines. The Listan Negro Rosado (rosé) is absolutely vibrant and our favorite of her wines. It’s got rich red berry fruit but also a deep spiced cherry core that’s helped along by salinity, smoke, and earthiness.

Frank Cornelissen Susucaru Rosso 2023

This rosé made by natural winemaking legend Frank Cornelissen is made according to their longstanding philosophy: skin contact for texture and territorial identity, malolactic fermentation fully finished for density, fluidity and stability, and overall minimal intervention in the cellar. This rosé is heftier than man and could be regarded just as easily a very light red like you might see from the minimal intervention producers of the Jura.

His wines are deeply traditional. The Santa Chiara is a white wine produced from Grechetto, Malvasia, Chardonnay, Sauvignon and Garganega, in approximately equal proportions, planted in the Pagliaro vineyard.
