Cocktail Kits

The Sidecar is an absolute old school classic that we think more people need to know about. It balances sweet and boozy with a lift of citrus from the lemon and Cointreau. We love it.

To make the Sidecar:

Combine 2 oz of Hennessy VSOP with 1.5 oz of lemon juice and 1 oz of Cointreau in a cocktail shaker and shake with ice.

Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish orange or lemon peel.

If this is too boozy the classic recipe has an additional teaspoon of Demerara syrup, but we prefer it without.

Included in this bundle:

1 Bottle of Cointreau (375 mL)

1 Bottle of Hennessy (750 mL)

We love the way these ingredients come together to make the base of a darker Manhattan variant we can call our own.

The sweetness of Woodford and the kiss of bitter citrus of the Amaro Nonino make for the perfect base for a boozy cocktail that can be dressed up with garnishes or further experimented with using different bitters.

To make the Community Wine & Spirits Manhattan:

Combine 2.5 oz of Woodford Reserve and 1 oz of Amaro Nonino and stir over ice until well chilled.

Strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with an orange peel or a candied walnut.
