Community Sidecar
$100.00Add to cartThe Sidecar is an absolute old school classic that we think more people need to know about. It balances sweet and boozy with a lift of citrus from the lemon and Cointreau. We love it.
To make the Sidecar:
Combine 2 oz of Hennessy VSOP with 1.5 oz of lemon juice and 1 oz of Cointreau in a cocktail shaker and shake with ice.
Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish orange or lemon peel.
If this is too boozy the classic recipe has an additional teaspoon of Demerara syrup, but we prefer it without.

Domaine de la Tourmaline Muscadet Sevre et Maine Sur Lie 2023
$18.00Add to cartWhile it’s hard to verify, there’s legend that this vineyard in Navineaux is the first place that Melon de Bourgogne (the grape used to make Muscadet) was found. Regardless, this is a delicious example that’s zesty while still maintaining a core of citrus. The sea salt salinity and deep minerality from the Navineaux soils hold this zippy white together.

Clement et Florian Berthier Coteaux du Giennois Rouge 2022
$28.00Add to cartFirst and foremost the fifth-generation Loire winemakers Clement and Florian Berthier are terroir-driven preducers. While they make plenty of Sauvignon Blanc, their focus is not on producing easy SB, but on producing wines that transparently show where they are from. While 80% of their production is white wine the do produce this beautiful blend of Pinot and Gamay that is juicy and fresh. It has rich that are complemented by floral and earthy undertones. There’s a bit of spice inflection from the terroir that sits on a well of deep minerality.

$86.00Add to cartThis is an incredibly cool Missouri Bourbon Whiskey. The Holladay Rickhouse Soft Winter Wheat is a unique blend of some rare concepts in bourbon. A wheated bourbon swaps out rye for wheat which results in a softer mouthfeel with different sugar levels. This rickhouse proof (meaning it’s bottled at the exact alcohol proof it sat in the barrel without cutting down to a round number) is blended from across the barrels in the Holladay rickhouses. No two releases are exactly the same but they will all be full of flavor.

Many of her vines come from her great grandparents holdings (the Jayer’s) that were planted in the 1920s.
