Distilled at Caledonian in 1987 the year before the distillery closed this incredible release from Duncan Taylor shines the light on an older classic. A single grain (not malt) scotch the notes lean toward toasted, greens, and herbal aromas, while the palate is dominated by light sweet green fruits, exotic spices, a little well-integrated vanilla, and a long honeyed finish.
