They are water and energy efficient and have built in pest management. With land preservation as a top priority it’s no surprise that their wines taste alive. This sauvignon blanc wine is full of grapefruit, kiwi, and vanilla aromas that dance over lively acidity. It is a hefty wine that maintains some lightness with the acid. We’d call it crisp, rich, and flavorful.

This is an excellent introduction to Viognier with the tell-tale aromas of apricot, nectarine and floral honeysuckle on the nose. The palate is fleshy and ripe, with excellent acidity. Simply put this is a delicious, mouth-watering Viognier from one of the top producers in the Rhone.

He has been working the single top terroir of Patrimonio, “E Croce,” a site on a thin chalk soil above a thick bedrock of pure schist since 2004. The wines are elegant, and worth exploring.
