Petit Sauvage Rouge 2022
$20.00Add to cartA Cabernet Sauvignon hybrid, this Cabernet Cortis is a compact, blackberry plowhorse of a wine with big herbal notes taking center stage. A little wild and a lot of fun! Think chicken marsala or tomato-rich dishes.

Philipponnat Clos des Goisses 2014
$486.00Add to cartThe vines (mostly Pinot Noir) cling to the challenging “Goisses” (dialect for steep slope). The wine is equally dramatic, laden with golden fruit highlighted by toasty, chalky & redcurrent notes. Perhaps the ultimate food pairing wine, think high cuisine: game, truffles & Lobster Thermidor. Or enjoy with popcorn & a season finale.

Pichler Krutzler Gruner Veltliner Durnstein 2022
$31.00Add to cartHusband Erich Krutzler and wife Elisabeth Pichler-Krutzler farm 10 hectares (22.2 acres) of vines organically. The Gruner Veltliner wine is sustainable, fresh, and full of stony flavors and fruit. We’d go as far as saying this is an entry-level Austrian wine that will transport you to the Wachau where you can watch the Danube river in your minds eye flow towards Vienna and eventually into the Black Sea.
-
Seabra Xisto Ilimitado Tinto 2021
$36.00Add to cartA delicious red from Luis Seabra (possibly the single most important Portuguese producer of the last two decades) who has spent the last years leading a moment of young, independent winemakers to explore historical vineyards, indigenous grapes, and old techniques. His own goal is to prove that the Douro can produce terroir-driven still wines through minimal intervention in the vineyards and winery (on top of an encyclopedic understanding of both). This “cru” is a field blend from schist heavy soils. This Touriga Franca driven blend comes from sustainably farmed vineyards in Cima Corgo. The wine aromas are high toned with red and blue fruit, wet stones, and violets. The palate is a little more red than blue, think cherry and pomegranate while white pepper, slate, and herbs sit on top of the juicy fruit. Ultimately a fresh and delicious choice.

Tara Atacama Valley Chardonnay 2021
$50.00Add to cartThis Chardonnay perfectly reflects the Atacama Desert. Beautifully structured, dry & stony with an unfined, cloudy elegance. The mineral finish is delineated & prolonged. 20 months in concrete and French oak give it longevity and length. As good as it gets from Chile.
-
Te Mata Awatea Cabernets/Merlot 2021
$54.00Add to cartWhat a value! A complex blend that brings the best of both varieties from what was clearly excellent Hawkes Bay, New Zealand fruit.
-
Textura Encoberta Tinto 2019
$41.00Add to cartAnother of our absolute favorites from an up-and-coming Portuguese producer who way outshines the price point. This red (Jaen based blend) is a crystal clear picture into what still and unfortified Portuguese wines can be.
-
Unau Percheron 184 Mourvedre Blanc 2022
$25.00Add to cartNamed for the horse used to till the soils on the Fons-Sanatis estate, the wine is made with minimal intervention at every step. It’s textured and floral and a fun entre into the more “natural” end of the wine spectrum.

Vicus Irpania Falanghina 2023
$25.00Add to cartFalanghina is one of the best “everyday” grapes of Italy and in Naples, the Amalfi, and Campania it makes noteworthy, if easy, white wines. This example comes from a sustainability-focused, female owned winery in Campania. This wine is somewhere between sea breeze and inland herbs and is a really tasty example of what the grape can do.

Vie de Romans Vieris Sauvignon Blanc 2021
$49.00Add to cartWhen we first opened this wine we all stopped talking. It was so aromatic and interesting that it shut us right up—and if you know us that’s saying something. We love a wine like this that challenges us and is entirely unexpected. This is a Sauvignon Blanc for real Sauvignon Blanc lovers. What a wine.

Yves Cuilleron Roussanne Les Vignes d’a Cote 2023
$31.00Add to cartWe love the wines from Yves Cuilleron for providing such great value. They are affordable but still made by a producer who really cares about the quality of what they are making. An excellent entry level representation of white Rhone wines.
-
Yves Cuilleron Syrah Les Vignes d’a Cote 2023
$26.00Add to cartFrom an organic producer that we love comes this fantastic little Syrah that way over delivers for its price point. The complexity in this wine is great. There’s classic smoky spice alongside savory green olive notes as well as the wilder berry fruit with fresh purple flowers. It’s brambly, savory, and affordable. Delicious.

Yves Cuilleron Viognier Les Vignes d’a Cote 2023
$33.00Add to cartThe Viognier Vignes d’à Coté, meaning “nearby vines” is from a sustainable vineyard close to the Condrieu appellation. This 100% Viognier is aromatic and is further intensified a few months in oak.
This is an excellent introduction to Viognier with the tell-tale aromas of apricot, nectarine and floral honeysuckle on the nose. The palate is fleshy and ripe, with excellent acidity. Simply put this is a delicious, mouth-watering Viognier from one of the top producers in the Rhone.
