The resulting wine is Bordeaux-leaning (dark blue and black fruit, savory cedar, licorice, earth) but can be enjoyed now, even if it does have the bones to age.

This is an excellent introduction to Viognier with the tell-tale aromas of apricot, nectarine and floral honeysuckle on the nose. The palate is fleshy and ripe, with excellent acidity. Simply put this is a delicious, mouth-watering Viognier from one of the top producers in the Rhone.
