Austria is home to many of our favorite summer wines–juicy, chill-able Zweigelt from Burgenland, mouthwatering Gruner Veltliner from the Wachau, super dry Riesling from Kamptal….the list goes on and on. There’s something special and elusive about these wines; we always enjoy them, but tend not to seek them before our other Old World favorites.
