These wines always age so well. Hints of iron on the palate, dried apricot, and golden raisin are underpinned by cherry wood, balsamic, and tea notes. Super cool wine from Italy that is excellent with game bird. 

Made from 25-40 year old barbera wines, with a long maceration to give a sturdiness to the wines to age.
