Juan Francisco Farina Los Loros Listan Blanco 2022

This interesting wine comes from the Valle de Güímar, a small DO on the eastern coast of Tenerife. The area is particularly know for white wines made with Listan Blanco grapes that are lifted by the trade winds blowing off the Atlantic, keeping temperatures low. His small operation makes very interesting expressions—this wine, for example, spends time under flor and develops similarities to a sherry while maintaining its volcanic, earthy freshness. Absolutely fascinating, absolutely delicious.
