Botanica Wines Mary Delany Pinot Noir 2019
Botanica Wines was founded in 2009 by owner and self-taught winemaker Ginny Povall, an American who fell in love with the beautiful Cape winelands, and relocated to the southern tip of Africa in Stellenbosch’s Devon Valley in 2008. Inspired by this horticultural history of the Protea flowers that were first grown commercially on her property, it was only natural that Ginny would choose to develop her wine brands and labels with a botanical flair.
An expressive Pinot which shows hints of cherry and earth on the nose, with layers of bright red fruit and purple flowers on the palate.

Chateau de Coulaine, Bonnaventure, Chinon 2022
$32.00Read moreChâteau de Coulaine is a family-owned estate operating continuously since 1300! Since 1988, the Bonnaventure family has run the viticulture and winemaking responsibilities and has grown the estate to its current 22 acres on Chinon’s plateaux. The vineyards are certified organic, all the grapes are hand-harvested, and vinification follows a non-interventionalist path. Coulaine’s low yields (around 35 hl/ha) result in a deeply concentrated, savory, and succulent expression of Cabernet Franc.
This wine is from sandstone and yellow limestone soils that leave rich aromas with blackberry, chocolate, cherry, and wild herbs that show an impressive depth and energy with a little touch of fresh flowers.
