In this edition of Wine 201 we’ll be exploring the wines of Southern Italy with our Wine Director Ben Bohen.

While some of you might be familiar with the Nebbiolo of the Piedmont or the Sangiovese of Tuscany there’s an embarrassment of riches in the southern part of the Italian peninsula (and Sicily). Think Aglianico, Nero d’Avola, Negroamaro, Nerello Mascalese, and more. We will be tasting while we talk about the regions to know, the producers we love, and what’s new.
