Back when David was fresh from his successful life as a Sommelier and Wine Director for Lydia Bastianich’s Felidia, he took a sabbatical and lived in the Piedmont region of northern Italy. He learned about winemaking spending time with the families behind the best wines from Northern Italy like Gaja, Conterno, Vietti and more heavy hitters.

In this 201 class he’ll share a bit of his learning by opening up some fantastic wines from Piemonte while sharing stories and tips on how to get the most out of your Nebbiolo, Barbera, and the other grapes native to the region.
