A. Rafanelli Winery is nestled in the Dry Creek Valley of Sonoma County, California, and has been a family-owned estate since 1909. Four generations later they are still producing great Zinfandel.

The grapes for A. Rafanelli Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel 2021 are sourced from the estate’s vineyards, where old-vine Zinfandel thrives in the well-drained soils and ideal microclimate. 2021 was one of the driest years on record (giving the Dry Creek name its due, but their old dry farmed vines continued to amaze,  producing another classic vintage. The lack of rainfall meant smaller berries and lighter clusters, resulting in less grapes but higher intensity of color and flavors.

This wine is juicy and mouthwatering with  fresh raspberry aromas, hints of spice and cola, and a velvety texture on the palate, reflecting the rich fruit flavors and balanced acidity typical of Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel.
