The wines of Yves Leccia (and reportedly the man himself) have presence. Importers Kermit Lynch liken him to the “Rolls-Royce” of Corsican wines, a moniker that is richly deserved. He has been working the single top terroir of Patrimonio, “E Croce,” a site on a thin chalk soil above a thick bedrock of pure schist since 2004. The wines are elegant, and worth exploring.
