Loop de Loop Chardonnay 2023

Loop de Loop is a charming family-run winery founded by Julia Bailey in 2012, drawing on her extensive experience in the Oregon wine industry. Scott Gulstine joined Julia in 2015, transitioning from his role as a physical therapist to become a full-time grape farmer and winemaker. Their shared dream of building a vineyard led them to establish the Light Anthology Vineyard in the breathtaking Cascade Range, just an hour from Portland. This high-altitude site, characterized by volcanic soils, provides ideal conditions for producing delicate wines with bright acidity and captivating aromatics. Scott focuses on regenerative farming practices, working diligently to restore soil health and promote biodiversity, ensuring that the vineyard remains a thriving ecosystem that enhances the quality of their wines.

This is a lighter style of cool climate Chardonnay. The nose expresses fresh peaches, citrus blossom, toasted almond, and a layer of warm volcanic mineralality. The palate is lean and textured, with bright acidity, orchard fruit, and subtle brioche flavors. The finish is, long and clean with mineral undertones.
