The “Péninsula” cuvée, a selection of Melon de Bourgogne grapes (the grape used to make Muscadet) from vines planted in 1947, is only bottled after 26 months of lees ageing. This intensive treatment means it’s rich, harmonious and ageworthy. It’s zesty with a core of citrus, but highly textured.
