DeLille Cellars D2 2022

Stellar. This is a Bordeaux blend that nods to the right bank. It is perhaps one of the most rewarding wines in the United States given its price point. It's hallmarks are its dark, expressive fruit that is checked by tannins that give the wine focus and structure but are not overwhelming. Think about the multifaceted way the tannins in this wine play on your palate allowing the fruit to shine but not feel to sweet or two rich. 

Short fermentation of 12 days and then 20 months aging in French Oak -- 47% of which is new.
