Community Sidecar

The Sidecar is an absolute old school classic that we think more people need to know about. It balances sweet and boozy with a lift of citrus from the lemon and Cointreau. We love it.To make the Sidecar:Combine 2 oz of Hennessy VSOP with 1.5 oz of lemon juice and 1 oz of Cointreau in a cocktail shaker and shake with ice.Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish orange or lemon peel.If this is too boozy the classic recipe has an additional teaspoon of Demerara syrup, but we prefer it without.
