Taub
A Multigenerational Napa Valley Project
The Taub family’s fine wine heritage spans four generations. Endlessly inspired by Napa and Sonoma’s extraordinary terroir, they’ve charted an exciting new course exploring the valleys’ most iconic vineyard sites. With a history that stretches back for the better part of a century, the Taub family have spent generations exploring (and pushing the boundaries of) fine wine. In fact, fine wine has always been the family’s north star. After watching his father and grandfather explore Italy’s mountainous north in the 1970s — ultimately introducing American consumers to fine Italian pinot grigio — Marc and now his son, Jake, are forging new paths in some of Napa’s most exciting appellations and districts.
Taub Family Vineyards practices Certified California Sustainable Winegrowing (“CSWA”) and represents some of the best sites in Rutherford, Oakville, Yountville, Mount Veeder, and Howell Mountain. Additionally, through a relationship with famed grower Andy Beckstoffer, the Taub family have access to the remarkable Beckstoffer Vineyard Georges III and Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper sites — some of the most hallowed soils and microclimates in California. Each wine embodies a pure expression of its respective AVA and microsite, striving for elegance and extraordinary balance between ripe fruit, deftly integrated oak, and velvety-soft tannins.
