A trained biologist with a deep understanding of both viticulture and global wine markets, Marta Sanvicente leads the winemaking vision at Cavas Naveran as Winemaker and Director. Her career spans research, premium organic wine production, and executive leadership in sparkling wine estates across Catalonia. At Naveran, Marta oversees estate vineyards rooted in the calcareous soils of Penedès, where traditional grape varieties such as Macabeo, Xarel·lo, Parellada, and Chardonnay thrive in a Mediterranean climate moderated by altitude.

The winery’s long-standing focus on estate fruit and sustainable farming allows her to highlight the individuality of each parcel, preserving freshness, natural acidity, and varietal precision that define the house style. Drawing on her experience in advanced winemaking techniques and sparkling wine production, Marta champions extended lees aging and meticulous traditional-method practices to build texture, finesse, and complexity.
