Indaba

Handcrafted South African Wine from the Western Cape

Indaba is a gateway to a sunny state of mind. Fresh and easy-drinking, with a quality that is unbeatable, their wines are made to celebrate the everyday moments. Indaba (pronounced in-dah-bah) is the Zulu word for “a meeting of the minds.” It is a word widely used in South Africa and means “coming together.” Embodying that spirit, their range of carefully crafted, quality wines are made for everyday and ideal for sharing. Every bottle of Indaba Wine also supports the Indaba Foundation, a non-profit which provides early childhood development teacher training in the South African winelands.

Indaba works closely with conscientious farmers in prime appellations who have perfected the art of grape growing over generations and strive to continuously improve critical conservation practices. Committed to sustainability, Indaba wines are Integrated Production of Wines (IPW) Certified. This seal verifies that each bottle of Indaba was crafted under strict guidelines requiring eco-friendly wine production and sustainable agricultural, manufacturing and packaging practices.

Drawn from the world’s oldest soils, all grapes are handpicked with meticulous attention to detail. The soils are diverse, including sandstone, granite, limestone, clay, and shale soils. The result is a range of wines that are truly representative of the distinctive and unique climate of the Cape. Stylistically juicy and approachable, Indaba’s wines are food friendly with a bottling for every palate. Consistently garnering “Best Value” and “Best Buy” accolades, the wines present character and structure well beyond their price.
