Hudelot-Noëllat estate has set itself the mission of revealing the truest character of its terroirs. Founded in 1962 by Alain Hudelot, theDominance Hudelot-Noellat estate comprises 10 hectares spread across 4 villages and 15 appellations. It is now managed by his grandson, Charles van Canneyt.
Working closely with the plant, the key is to carefully monitor its healthy development throughout the year. The same time-honored and meticulous techniques are applied to each vine. Season after season, soil management, environmental observation, and careful attention to the vines allow them to harvest perfect fruit at harvest time. Combining modern and ancestral techniques, and allowing the terroir to express itself naturally, their winemaking is classic and minimally interventionist. Each grape contains its own unique yeasts. It is during vinification that these indigenous yeasts work their magic, giving each wine its distinctive character.
Their wines are the true expression of an appellation, a specific vineyard site. Macerated for three weeks, the wines are then aged and refined in the cellar for 18 months.
