Heitz Cellar was founded by Joe and Alice Heitz after acquiring an eight acre vineyard and winery south of St. Helena. Pioneering pure varietal, single-vineyard wines that can age for decades, including the iconic Martha’s Vineyard, the wines of Heitz Cellar embody the artistry and legacy of classic winemaking while conveying the unique terroir of its treasured vineyards.
The wines are made with an unwavering commitment to quality from organically farmed, 100% Napa Valley fruit, and a commitment to the sustainability of Napa Valley.Their prized estate vineyards are planted in six of Napa Valley’s sub-appellations: Oakville, Rutherford, St. Helena, Howell Mountain, Oak Knoll District, and Calistoga, providing an incredible breadth of diversity in terroir and allowing Heitz Cellar to craft wines that are a pure representation of place. They are a proud leader in agricultural stewardship as 100% of their vineyards are certified CCOF organic.
