Gin Lane 1751

Victorian Style Gin Distilled in London

Gin Lane 1751 was created in partnership between 10th-generation distiller Charles Maxwell of Thames Distillers in London, England, and the Bloomsbury Club, led by industry veteran Geoff Curley. The range of gins is created in a classic Victorian style with bold yet balanced juniper, star anise, and Mediterranean citrus.

The brand has been named after both William Hogarth’s infamous Gin Lane painting and also the landmark Gin Act of 1751, which led to gin becoming less readily available in the UK with stricter production guidelines and higher tax and, as such, positioned the classic spirit as “more respectable.”

Created in traditional small pot stills, the range consists of classic London dry expressions, an authentic 'Victoria' Pink Gin, a classic old Tom style, and limited releases from its 'Victorian garden series' of all-natural, freshly foraged flavors. Their two very special 500-liter pot stills, affectionately named 'Tom Thumb' and 'Thumbelina,' are specifically made to distill gin. These stills provide the flexibility and precision to produce small-batch, artisanal gins.
