A “Vacation in a Glass” From the French Countryside

From the Tank was born out of the old-school idea of going to the local winery with a big empty jug to fill up with easy-drinking juice, a tradition that stretches back for ages in France. When Jenny created From the Tank, she was determined to source organically or sustainably-grown grapes that could then be turned into wine with little intervention. The wines she created together with winemaking partner Christophe Aguilar of Domaine de La Patience in the South of France remain to this day unique in the marketplace of wine: tasty low-intervention wine.

The bag-in-box packaging is the most carbon-efficient wine package available and produces the least waste: 55% lower carbon footprint in manufacture and transport and 85% less landfill waste compared to traditional glass bottles.

The grapes are sourced either from Patience’s own vines, certified organic, or purchased from neighboring vineyards (HVA sustainable or practicing organics). Soils consist of pebbles, sandstone, and loess. Winemaking involves use of neutral yeast, vegan-friendly fining, and light filtration.
