So who is Bernard Bonin ? Well it's not one but two people-- a partnership. Nicolas Bernard and Veronique Bonin are Meursault based producers committed to biodynamic farming practices turning out tiny amounts of wine that make it to the U.S. market. Their importer Martine's Fine Wines says about them "The style of these wines is singular - simultaneously fresh, rich, mineral, and vibrant."

The husband and wife team began their Domaine in 1998. The youngest of their vines was planted in 1972 with an average vine age of 60 years. One of the hallmarks of their wine making style is to rack the lees just before bottling to prevent finning or filtration.
