The Silva family pioneered grape growing in the Colchagua Valley with the first vineyards back in 1892. Viña Casa Silva is a 100% family vineyard, owned by the Silva family, which since 1997 has been dedicated to the production of fine bottled wines.Their cellar is the oldest in the valley, yet they strive to innovate in their vineyards and to pioneer new terroirs in the Colchagua Valley. 5th generation, family-run, and the most awarded Chilean winery in the 21st century, Casa Silva invests in extensive clonal studies and block-specific wines from throughout Colchagua.
Currently, the Silva Family, like their ancestors, are recognized as pioneers of the Colchagua Valley in the O’Higgins Region of central Chile. Its vineyards and the quality of its wines transformed it into the most awarded Chilean vineyard of the 21st century. They are present in more than 70 countries around the world and have plantations in different corners of the Colchagua Valley, close to the Andes mountain range, such as Los Lingues and Angostura, and the Pacific Ocean, such as Lolol and Paredones, in addition to a pioneering project in Futrono -Lago Ranco, in the Austral region of Chile.
