Athletes du Vin Pineau d'Aunis VDF 2024

This AOP Touraine Pineau d’Aunis is made from 50 to 120-year-old vines grown in clay and limestone soils and harvested entirely by hand at a low yield of 45 hl/ha. The grapes undergo a two-week maceration before fermenting and aging in stainless steel, followed by six months on fine lees in concrete tanks to preserve freshness and texture. Bottled in April, the wine is fresh and vibrant, showing distinctive white pepper spice alongside bright red fruit and raspberry aromas. It is especially versatile at the table, pairing well with charcuterie, barbecue dishes, and flavorful spicy Asian cuisine.
