Ernest Vineyards Alder Springs Trousseau 2023

This is a really neat wine coming from Mendocino County.  Only 50 cases of this wine were made. We took three of them. Aged in neutral barrels and concrete egg, it clocks in at just 11% alcohol. Here is how the winery describes the wine which we think is a pretty good description. 

"Translucent with gentle ruby hue. The expressive nose reveals ripe raspberry, wild strawberry, and red currant which is intertwined with the essence of spring mountain air and fresh pine sap. On the palate, it presents a lightness in weight, displaying restrained flavors... Subtle notes of hibiscus tea, marked by a touch of salinity..."
