THis rose is produced with the indigenous varietal Listan Negro, from vineyards in which every vine has to be planted in its own separate dug out hole (hoyo), so the vines can penetrate through the volcanic crust of the island, and reach nutrients below. An example of a rose that isn’t shy but bold in flavor, while being dry and versatile for pairing. Stonefruit and red berries, rhubarb and pink salt in harmony. Also, I hate to say it, but the bottle is very cool, as it is the same style of bottle they use for olive oil.
