Masserio Trullo di Pezza Mezza Pezza Primitivo Salento 2022

This organically farmed 100% Primitivo comes from 20–30-year-old vines rooted in sandy clay soils at low altitude. Fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel and aged for 12 months before bottling, it offers a fresh, expressive nose of cherry, plum, and tobacco. The palate is supple and fruit-forward, with good concentration and a smooth, elegant finish. Produced in limited quantities of around 15,000 bottles, it’s a polished yet approachable red that showcases both character and balance.
