Klein Costancia Vin de Constance 2019 500ml

This is a very premium dessert wine from a storied South African producer. Made with 100% Muscat de Frontignan, the Klein Constantia almost has a Sauternes-like quality, even if it’s made differently. It’s beautifully ripe but balanced. It’s like a rich buttery peach pastry; it’s opulent, but the fruit still shines through and is bolstered by rich spice and honeyed lemon curd. Below it all is a fine edge of minerality. An absolutely stellar way to finish a meal.
