This Ginjo sake is stored in a bottle and pasteurized only once to keep the delicate aroma and flavor longer than usual. Serve chilled or warm. Light, smooth and rich type. Round aroma of steamed rice and chestnuts harmonized with fruity aroma of banana and melon. Medium dry sake with mild and soft texture and savory finish.
Great balance between fruit and acidity, dry finish. A friendly and versatile sake, and a great match for tomato-based or tempura dishes. Best served chilled or at room temperature.
Oomuraya Brewery was established in 1832 in Shimada, Shizuoko prefecture and is located along the Ohi River, which flows from Japan’s southern Alps (home to Mount Fuji), in the center of the country, to the Pacific Ocean. Despite the great water quality, Oomuraya is the only remaining brewery in Shimada today.
