A very pretty Gigondas from a longtime winemaking family. Blended from a few sites with an average age of well over half a century in age that have very low yields. The wine is aged in large oak foudres where it stays to be bottled unfined and unfiltered a full three years after harvest. It’s balanced but sturdy and has sweet tannins and aromatic, meaty spice.
