Domaine Georges Roumier Bonnes Marres Grand Cru 2023

This wine comes from east-facing vineyards on a moderately steep slope, where 40-year-old vines grow on chalky marl at the top and clay-limestone lower down. Hand-harvested and sorted, the grapes are fermented with native yeasts, partially destemmed, and gently worked, then aged 16 months in oak before being bottled unfined and unfiltered. Roumier’s two Bonnes-Mares parcels—one higher on chalk-rich soils, one lower with more clay—are vinified separately and blended to combine lifted aromatics and minerality with structure and depth.
