Gergő Filep is a white wine in the village of Tállya in Tokaj, but in 2022 he decided to make a red: a Kékfrankos in his second home of Eger, 100 km southeast of Tokaj in Nagy-Eged, a very prestigious hillside that's rich in limestone and boasts the highest elevation vineyards in Hungary.
