The Michel family has been producing Mâconnais wines for six generations in the village of ‘Cray.’ Since 1998, when the Viré-Clessé appellation was created. The average age of the vines is 50 years. Aged in oak barrels of Tronçais,
(renewed by sixth each year) during the first twelve months. On the eve of the following harvest, the barrels are assembled for another 10 to 12 months of resting in stainless steel tanks before bottling.
