Cascina Penna-Currado Barbera d'Alba Carra 2023

Cascina Penna-Currado is the new and exciting project from the Penna-Currado Vietti family, spearheaded by Elena Penna, Luca Currado Vietti and their kids, Michele and Giulia. After running one of the Piedmont’s most respected wineries (see the last names), the family decided to focus on an artisanal expression of what the Piedmont can provide.This is a focused and interesting Barbera with a core of pretty dark fruits and good tension. Luca is an incredible winemaker and we look forward to seeing how all of his wines develop.
