Our friend John Ufland is at the helm of Second Pour. It's an endeavor to further their namesake: connections made over the second glass. Whether through private tastings, producer dinners, or guided regional trips, John is always working to create more of the celebrated moments we cherish at Community. We're proud to work together to bring you another exciting chance to laugh, learn something new, and enjoy a delicious meal.
Teal Walker and Andrew Riecher founded Audeant in 2014. They work with stellar grapes in Yamhill-Carlton and Eola-Amity Hills to bring us some of Willamette's finest from entry level to single vineyard backvintages. It's rare that we're given an opportunity to connect over our glasses with a person who made our wine. Click the link to reserve your spot before it's gone.
Join us for a free tasting! It's not every day that we get to welcome the winemaker into our shop to pour for you--so seize this opportunity if you're a lover of all things Oregon! Come any time between 3 and 5 PM to taste the Audeant lineup.
We're bringing back Giancarlo Luiggi for Spain 101! Taste 7 wines while you learn all about the major regions and grapes of Spain, from Catalunya to Galicia. Right in time for a long-awaited spring! Who knows, maybe Albarino will be your new Sauv Blanc..?
By now you know the drill! Come to another fabulous tarot reading session with Empress Coco Sade, and taste 2 cocktails (or a wine, if you prefer) while you wait! Readings typically take 5-10 minutes--come any time between 5-8. First come, first read.
Ah, Sicily! Home to fabulously aromatic Carricante, smokey Nero d'Avola, and much, much more. Taste 7 wines with Ben and learn all about winemaking styles from one of our favorite Italian regions.
Australia is home to unique terroirs and drastically differing microclimates. While a relatively new addition to the wine makingworld, Australia never had to go through Prohibition like we did--so the country is home to some of the oldest vines in the New World. Taste 7 wines and learn all about winemaking styles down under.
Corsica, Sicily, the Azores, oh my! This class is for the terroir lovers. From light-bodied whites ripping with acidity and sea spray to aromatic, volcanic reds, there is so much to explore. Take this class to explore 7 wines from our favorite island regions!
'Tis the season! The Loire Valley is known for light, mineral-driven white wines--you know and love Sancerre, but when was the last time you had a Chenin Blanc? What about a Cab Franc?? If the answer is "I'm not sure," you should probably come to this class. You'll taste 7 wines perfect for the summer!
