Chateau Climens 1er Cru Barsac Sauternes 1977

This Premier Cru Classé from Barsac–Sauternes is made entirely from Sémillon grown on ferruginous clay and limestone soils, a terroir known for producing wines of depth and elegance. The vineyard, farmed biodynamically since 2010, is planted with mature vines averaging 38 years old and yields are kept very low to ensure concentration. Vinified in small batches and aged for nearly two years in French oak barrels, the wine offers richness, precision, and the classic refinement expected from one of the great classified growths of Sauternes.
