Ichinokura Taru Tokubetsu Junmai Cedar Barrel

We were floored when we tasted this sake. The nose is rich and full of delicate cedar notes. To be clear as robust as the nose is, the cedar is not overwhelming, but welcoming in the same way a fresh baked anything (pie, bread, lasagna) makes you feel at home. This is a sake with some weight but the complexity of flavors really keeps your palate engaged and entertained.
