The Dauvissat family has been working this land for a long time, but it wasn’t until the 60’s and 70’s that they began to make enough for the outside world to catch on. The sites they work are all ideal for the region and girded by the rich Kimmeridgian limestone (ancient seabed) that Chablis is known for.
