Chateau Talbot Saint Julien 2020

Chateau Talbot is a 4th Cru Classé in Saint-Julien and is one of the Médoc's most emblematic names. It’s one of the Medoc's oldest estates, and through the years has been fortunate enough to remain in good hands. The current owners are the fourth generation of the same family managing Talbot.The soils are well raised and gravelly producing classic Bordeaux aromas all in a balanced package. It’s lively and framed by a sensational texture and a lingering finish. Aromas of plum confit, crème de cassis, tobacco, licorice, and roasted herbs mingle with a woody, charcuterie-like savory note that will only deepen with age.
